Misbau Alamu LATEEF is an experienced legal practitioner, a law teacher, a legal researcher and consultant.
Misbau received his LL.B. law degree in 2007 at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He was called to the Nigerian Bar as Barrister and Solicitor of Supreme Court of Nigeria in November 2008. He obtained his Masters’ law degree in 2011 from University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, Nigeria. In 2015, he obtained his Masters of Philosophy Degree (M.Phil.) in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University where he is also presently concluding his Ph.D. degree on corporate governance and ancillary subjects.
Following his admission into the Nigerian Bar in 2008, Misbau consistently worked in law firms at different times in Lagos State, the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria, as an associate, a senior associate and a partner. His rich legal practice and consultancy expertise cut across corporate and commercial litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution (A.D.R), International Trade and Foreign Investment, and company secretariat services.
